Taking a pledge towards Safety, Navin’s organizes Awareness Camp in the presence of 300 workers on 52nd National Safety Day
Chennai, March 7, 2023: In an effort to recognize, honour, and educate construction workers and contractors on the aspects of safe construction practices, Navin’s, the most trusted and respected real estate developer of Chennai, today, organized a massive Safety Awareness Camp. Hosted at Navin’s Starwood Towers 3.0, the program aimed at creating awareness of safety at workplace and preventing the risk of accidents at construction sites in the presence of 300 workers, on the 52nd National Safety Day. Mr Mani Shankar, Safety Deputy Joint Director, Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW)- Chennai, graced the occasion as the chief guest along with Police Inspector, sub-inspector, and, Fire Inspector, Medavakkam.
The event witnessed the contractors and construction workers pledging to maintain the etiquette of safety, followed by a special mime performance based on the occasion, and a tree plantation ceremony by the chief guest to commemorate the essence of security at occupational places.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr Mani Shankar, Safety Deputy Joint Director , Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW)- Chennai, said, “ I am delighted to be a part of this awareness initiative and I express my gratitude towards Navin’s for having invited me. I am glad that a prominent developer in Chennai like Navin’s has taken the responsibility to spread the importance of ensuring security at the workplace, especially at construction sites where the risk is higher. I congratulate the team on having undertaken this initiative and broadening the scope of educating contractors and workers for the same.”

The camp came to a conclusion with the felicitation of construction workers and contractors for being star performers in line with prioritizing security at the building sites.
