Sunray Scans, a premier diagnostic imaging centre, with the Chennai’s first-ever High-Resolution Open MRI was launched at Royapettah. The scan centre was inaugurated by Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, on Monday, 21st July 2025, at 10AM.
The introduction of this cutting-edge Open MRI system marks a significant milestone in Tamil Nadu’s healthcare landscape, offering patients a safer, more comfortable, and anxiety-free MRI experience — especially beneficial for children, elderly patients, and those suffering from claustrophobia.
Speaking ahead of the launch, the managing director of Sunray Scans said, “This is not just a technological upgrade. It’s a paradigm shift in how MRI scans are delivered.
