TANISHQ EXPANDS ITS RETAIL FOOTPRINT WITH A NEW STORE LAUNCH IN CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU
Chennai, 1st May 2026: Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery retail brand from the house of Tata, has announced the grand launch of its new store in West Tambaram, Chennai, further strengthening its presence in Tamil Nadu. Marking a significant milestone, this is the brand’s 66th store in the state and 24th store in Chennai City. The newly launched store was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Narayan, CEO, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Ltd and Mr. Narasimhan Y L, Circle Business Head, Jewellery, TN & Kerala, in the presence of key company representatives and esteemed patrons at 12:30 PM.
To celebrate the grand opening, Tanishq has introduced a special inaugural offer, wherein customers can avail a complimentary gold coin* on their purchases as part of the limited period celebration. The offer is valid from 1st May to 3rd May 2026.
Strategically located at 257, GST Road, West Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600045, the new store spans an expansive 8000 sq. ft. retail area. The store reflects Tanishq’s design excellence and customer first philosophy, offering a contemporary, spacious, and immersive retail environment that enhances the overall shopping experience.
The store houses an extensive selection of iconic Tanishq jewellery designs, including plain gold jewellery, exquisite diamond collections, solitaires, polki jewellery, and a wide range of daily wear pieces. Customers can also explore unique offerings such as Anique jewellery and South Indian Glass Kundan designs. The store also presents the latest natural gemstones collection, ‘Hues’, along with a versatile range catering to both traditional and contemporary preferences.
The store also houses the Tanishq Diamond Expertise Centre, a tech-enabled initiative that helps customers verify the authenticity, origin, and brilliance of their diamonds. The multi-tool setup features five advanced devices that evaluate key aspects of a diamond, including light performance, origin, inclusions, and laser markings.
