Employified’22, a placement initiative of Agurchand Manmull Jain College, Chennai, was organised exclusively to distribute the offer letters to the 303 students who were placed in the Campus Drive. The Programme started at 3pm with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries. The Principal, Dr.N.Venkataramanan welcomed the august gathering. A virtual tour of the College was presented followed by a testimonial video by the students.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Sundar Seth, Founder of Purple Drive Technologies was felicitated by Associate Secretary Shri. Hemant Chordia. Guests of Honour, Mr. George Stephen, Vice-President, Bank of New York, Mellon Technology and Mr. B. Venkatramani, Founder and CEO of Clustrex Data Pvt.Ltd, were felicitated. The HR Managers and Assistant Managers of various recruiting companies were also felicitated.
Mr. Sundar Seth appreciated the huge efforts taken by the College Management for providing such great opportunities to the students and congratulated the campus placed students. Mr. George Stephen spoke to the students inspiring them with the four points of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. He urged them to become the ambassadors of the prestigious college in their future.
In his special address, Mr. B. Venkataramani, heartily congratulated the student recruits and asked them to savour the moment. He insisted that taking risks in life would lead to immense development in their future endeavours.
The occasion was one of its kind as 303 students received their offer letters from these Prestigious Guests of honour. They had been placed in 24 companies of repute like Infosys, Accenture, TCS, HCL Limited, Mphasis, Guidehouse, Piramal Industries, Hibiz Solutions, Savvysoft Technologies, Quitessence Business Solutions, Bdreamz Global Solutions, Imagnum Healthcare Solutions, Joy Technologies, E-Con System, Vinora Studios and Technologies, Vulcan Elastolan, Ntrust Software and Services, Medical Billing Wholesalers, All Cargo Logistics, E-com Express Limited, Just Dial Limited, Bluechip Corporate Investment and Cresco Maruti.
The Programme concluded with the Guests giving a one-to-one meet with the Press.
AADAI DHANAM
Agurchand Manmull Jain College in association with the Rajasthan Cosmo Club Foundation has formed ‘AADAI DHANAM’, a Club to donate old clothes to the needy people. The inauguration of the ‘AADAI DHANAM’ Club was held on 25th May 2022 at Bhagwan Mahaveer Gyan Bhavan, Agurchand Manmull Jain College at 10am. MFJ Lion. Paneer Selvam, District Chairman, Convention was the Chief Guest for the day. The Club was inaugurated in memory of Smt. Pannadevi Chordia, wife of former Secretary Shri. Sardarmull Chordia, commemorating the first Anniversary.
Used clothes in good condition will be sent to the needy people through the Club. Clothes donated by the staff and the students will be collected at a donation point inside the College campus twice a year. The first clothes collection will be on 25th of May every year and the second on a working day before the Navartri every year.
