Third Season of Chennai Kaalpandhu League to kick off on October 9

~An exclusive Football league for U-13 Government and Corporation School children~

Chennai, October 07, 2023: After two successful seasons, LatentView Analytics is all ready to hold its third edition of Chennai Kaalpandhu League (CKL) from October 09th to October 14th at YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai.

Boys and girls from government and corporation schools in the city will be part of the tournament. The objective of the league is to provide an opportunity for the students to channelize their inner talent and become high-performing footballers.

CKL Season 3 will have 12 boys teams and 6 girls teams making it 18 teams in all, with 15 players in each team. 18 matches in the group phase and 24 matches overall matches would be played in this third season. The round robin format will start from October 9 and the tournament would go on till October 14.

Government schools from Chennai district – Lady Wellington school, Triplicane, Government Model Higher Secondary School, Nandanam, Chennai Boys Higher Secondary School, Saidapet, Government Higher Secondary School, KK Nagar, PCKG School, Kodambakkam, Government Higher Secondary School, West Mambalam, Government Model Higher Secondary School, Saidapet, Government Model Higher Secondary School Arumbakkam, Government Higher Secondary School Perungudi, Government Higher Secondary School Thuraipakkam, Madarsha Asam Government School, Annasalai and Presidency girls School, Egmore would be participating in the league matches.

Sharing details about the event, Ms. Pramad Jandhyala, Co-Founder, LatentView Analytics, said, “CKL has been receiving warm response from underprivileged children ever since its conception. We have been able to assess the performance of students by following a regulated coaching pattern since last year. Training has been planned in two phases. While the Pre-league structure includes training in skill development camps for the students selected in the assessments, the post-league training for over a month will be for the top talents. We want to nurture talent, find relevant opportunities and help them excel in the sport.”

The first and second editions of Chennai Kaalpandhu League was conducted in 2019 and 2022 respectively. Since 2019, Chennai Kaalpandhu League has reached out to more than 400 children studying in Government and Corporation Schools and has provided formal football training and league match exposure to them.
