Chennai July 25th, 2022: Marking the occasion of World IVF Day, SIMS Hospital, a leading multispecialty hospital in Chennai organised an awareness session for parents and kids. The event witnessed parents sharing their emotional journey of their childbirth and how it changed their lives. It was a fun filled event with 30 miracle kids, who were born at SIMS Hospital participated in this event. A special cake cutting Ceremony was organized for these cute little kids born through IVF at SIMS hospital. The Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology and IVF at SIMS hospital is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and the best advanced solutions in this department. Doctors from the Pediatric department also participated along with their staffs.
As per a recent statistics by National Family Health Survey -5, the Total Fertility Rate in India has dipped from 2.2 to 2 owing to multiple factors related to our lifestyle and food etc. Infertility issues affect a lot of couples emotionally and they do fulfil their dreams of having kids through procedures like IVF. This procedure has provided a breakthrough for several millions across the world to overcome their social stigma and other emotionally sensitive challenges by successfully becoming parents through IVF.
