WORKEZ COMMEMORATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY ACROSS ITS CENTRES IN CHENNAI
Chennai, 6 June 2022 – Chennai’s largest managed office and coworking space provider, Work Easy Space Solutions Private Limited (WorkEZ) commemorates World Environment Day across its centres in Chennai. In a partnership with Vidhai Recycling, WorkEZ orgazined a workshop to showcase how we can reduce household waste by upcycling items like clothes, plastic bottles, old newspapers etc. Vidhai Recycling conducted a one hour workshop on 6th June 2022, Monday, where participants tried their hand at T-Shirt upcycling and making bags out of old newspapers.
At WorkEZ Willow Square – Guindy, a pollution check was also being organised, where employees got their personal vehicles’ emissions checked and certified.
Speaking on the occasion, Prathap Murali, Head of Business for WorkEZ said: “For this year, the theme for World Environment Day is “Only One Earth”. We have over 4500 corporate employees based out of our 4 centres in Chennai, whose cumulative efforts can really make a difference for the community and the environment at large. We hope our activities encourage people to take action and protect the environment.”
WorkEZ currently operates 4 centres in Chennai (WorkEZ SMT Towers- OMR, WorkEZ Anna Salai, WorkEZ Willow Square – Guindy and WorkEZ Urban Square – OMR) and has a capacity of over 8000 seats spanning over 450,000 square feet.
