Unsung heroes of Covid 19 Second Wave into the Limelight
through Chennai Salutes
The first edition of Chennai Salutes 2021 is scheduled to make its first mark on 23rd of
December 2021 at Ramada Chennai Egmore. The event is all about honoring the warriors
of covid second wave by bringing them into the limelight through foremost diplomats of the
city.
Why Chennai Salutes?
The time hasn’t changed, the situation is the same around us, still the pandemic is chasing
us in the name of the Second Wave! Normal lifestyle and survival became even harder. But,
thanks to all the frontliners who risked their own life for the battle of survival of many. It is
also our responsibility to honor those unsung heroes. Many Unsung heroes save the day
for us and never ask anything in return! Yet, they deserve it! The sole motive of Chennai
Salutes is to bring those unsung heroes of India into spotlight on a regular basis and give
them a moment of encouragement.
Plot of Chennai Salutes 2021
The plot of 1st edition of Chennai Salutes 2021 is to honor 20 unsung heroes of the Covid
Second Wave (Individuals or Organizations) with 30 Guests of Honor & 12 Chief Guests
who will join us at the occasion to bring those warriors to the spotlight.

Chennai Salutes is organized by Mr. Devanand Sha, CEO of Sha Consulting and
Saravanan Chandran, CEO of No Hunger Organization with a great support of Ramada by
